I am now sitting in the train station at Bayonne after a 5 hr TGV down south. I am about to get a bus up to St Jean Pied de Port. It’s hot, must be near 30*. I have a beer and charging my phone.

Tomorrow I will send my post-Camino clothes to Santiago. Get my Passport and buy a wide brimmed hat. I have started reading the Anatomy of the Spirit, to get me in the zone…..

Spoke to Kate twice today. All fine at home and she is getting prepared to join in 3 weeks. Bring less stuff mate. It’s hot and the last thing you need is a heavy pack….or the last thing I need……
