early start with French toast, OJ, cafe con lache. Yum…
got a lift back into town in the fog and headed down the track with what seemed like everyone in Spain! Man it’s busy. No chance of getting lost now. Just follow the backpacks…
Up and up again and then tailed off to flat and I finally got my one stick walking swing going – go figure, after 32 days of using 2 poles I relaxed and walked with a slight swagger and opted for one only. A very casual long pole swing….very cool……something that Kate had been doing from the start.
i think I am getting the hang of this walking with a stick!
We saw a load of corn dryers again. They put dried corn in everything. Mixed nut mix and corn added…..with paprika.
A bit of forest action down the road….spooky…
And then Andy and Sally arrived and we walked with them along lovely country roads and tracks. Only after a few beers of course!
Finally we needed to taste the local G&T which was delicious…..
Getting ready for the last day…….
what awaits…..
Hi andy,
I’ve loved following your journey. What an amazing experience and fantastic achievement. And fancy even fennel pollen along the way!
Love to you and Kate and your fellow walkers! Campbell and Jill
