Day 31. Portomarin – Palas de Rei. Pilgrims in the mist

Early to rise after a poor nights sleep. Fog was thick this morning and we walked for almost 2.5 hrs up the mountain until we hit a cafe and the sun. We passed more corn dryers which are becoming more and more ornate day by day……

A longer walk today for about 24km saw us through tree lined tracks and quite country roads.

Finally there is this image of a pilgrim which goes on almost anything and is quite cool….

Checked into the hotel and relaxed before going out and finding dinner before embarking on tomorrow’s 30km trek to just before Santiago…..
