lots to see here after a decent nights sleep. Spoke to Kate late last night in Madrid and then went to sleep.
this morning I did final washing of every single thing I own. Reload. Then had coffee etc.and continued to read Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha…now that’s a journey….
anyway enough of that. Wandered up into town from the hotel and met Arnaldo and walked down to the San Marco square to the Parador where Kate and I will stay tomorrow night before heading up the track a bit.
it is an amazing building and will post some photos after we check in. But have to show this…
had one of those long Sunday lunches with steak and a lovely little Rose from the owners winery. Seriously good. Had the steak with pimento sauce. Yum yum yum. Then he gives us a little bottle of Yerbus, which is the local digestive. Wow.
saw this on the conservatory of music wall. Now this is an icon.
And finally this is the Gaudi building in the square. Nice and me and Antonio….relaxing together.
Now for dinner and meeting many of the other peregrines from 1 September start….
Don’t forget, there is a requirement of Celibacy while doing the Camino!
